Evacs R Us started when a professional firefighter noticed there was a gap in the market for comprehensive evacuation schemes and fire training in Southland. Instead of focusing on purely hypothetical situations, we decided to mix theory and hands-on training to help the information resonate better.

In 2017, Evacs R Us officially commenced operations with a team of current and former emergency service professionals. Our courses, taught by experts with firsthand experience in life-saving and fire suppression, ensure up-to-date methods and thorough responses to your questions.

We strive to provide the most comprehensive fire training in Southland and Otago as well as assisting with your evacuation scheme requirements. All schemes and procedures undergo approval by Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) as required.
